The Lesotho Communications Authority (LCA) wishes to inform the public that it has received an application seeking authorisation for the provision of Non-Voice Mobile Satellite Service in Lesotho from ORBCOMM International Holdings LLC.  The system will not be interconnected with the public telephone networks.  The data services that will be made available to users in Lesotho consist of a full range of one- and two-way non-voice mobile satellite service and position location offerings. The basic connectivity services that will be provided by the Applicant will be incorporated with the market-specific applications that are developed and marketed to end-users by third-party providers.  A detailed proposal is available at LCA offices or here .
